The FAIB 767 is the most unpleasant AI traffic aircraft paint kit I have ever worked with, and the FAIB 747 comes in at a near second place. Erez updated the models at some point and forgot to re-map the textures to match, so there are some seam irregularities that require an inordinate amount of time to make rightl, plus 4-sided texture alignment of cheatline stripes is a complete pain in the neck. Since FSPX 767s have option of 2-side or 4-side texturing (for wraparound schemes and such), and they have more antennae/dome/beacon placement options; the FSPX models IMHO are far superior. 99.99% of all the retro painting I have done on the FSPX 767s (and WB ABs) only requires the 2-side texture model. Again, FSPX models are cheap for all of the options you get……Mike P.
Why not FAIB model that is better?
